MANCHESTER COMEDY FESTIVAL 2011
OCTOBER 19TH: Apothica
ONE NIGHT ONLY!
THE NEXT
CAR CRASH COMEDY!

DETAILS TO COME....
Car Crash Comedy is a night that has been set up to give comedians a challenge as well as something a bit different and (hopefully) a real laugh.
The idea is that each comedian has 5 minutes on stage (max) to make up, on the spot, a whole new set based on a 'theme' they're given onstage. (E.G. ice cream, cars, weekends, girlfriends etc)....
The themes will be pre-written, however the audience will also have the chance to contribute anything they want to the proverbial hat. (within reason- there will be a checking process here!)
This is for ANYONE to take part in- it doesn't matter if you've been on the scene 10 years or 10 days- this is for everyone to have a go and there will be no heckling, gong etc- the ONLY interruption to anyone's set will be if they use OLD material- this is mainly why we need as many comedians to take part as possible!
Please keep in mind, if you die on your arse it's a laugh- not the end of the world, and if you last 30 seconds onstage without the compere giving you an understanding but inevitable pat on the shoulder it's all part of the fun.
Like I said, this is NOT a gong show- this is just a bit of fun, and
it would be great to have as many comedians at this as possible- LAST SHOW HAD 24!
Please get in touch with me if you want to take part, and bring/tell as many people as possible.
Hope to see you there!
